Objective of the Course:

Healthcare is the largest industry in the world ( even in India ) rapidly attracting new entrants and generating competitions. Global health industry is estimated to be US $ 3 trillion (150 lakh crores ). Indian Healthcare industry is estimated at One lakh crores, growing @ 10 %. Emphatic focus on world class quality. This gives rise to newer opportunities, complex managerial challenges and varied technology options.

Considering the existing hospitals and the future growth say up to year 2010 we need about 30,000 hospital managers at middle level (9,000) and Junior Level ( 18,500). At present we hardly have about 10% of the trained manpower suitable for employment in hospitals.

Achieving an acceptable standard of health for general population has been the objective in the health sector in the 5 year plans of government of India. This is reflected by the Rs. 36,378 crores for 10th plan . Whereas the actual expenditure of 41,522 crores which was 105% of the actual expenditure of the 9th plan. To meet the urgent need of the Healthcare Industry Hierank Business School & Academy of Hospital Administration, Noida, joined hands to offer this very specialized program.
